I’ve always loved the aesthetic and premise of an intelligent yet ferocius lizard-like race whose main purpose is to maintain order and combat chaos.

The feel of stoicly guarding secrets and power but when called apon acting swiftly and ferociously was always a cool vibe.

The cold-blooded Seraphon are eternal enemies of Chaos and show no mercy to those who would subvert the Great Plan laid down by their ancient and mysterious creators, the Old Ones. Their scaled warbands, led by the master mages known as slann, combine bestial savagery with primordial wisdom and fearsome cosmic power.

Warband Strategy and Profiles

The Seraphon have a main split between two different main types of fighters: the Saurus and the Skinks. 

The Saurus are really well-rounded mid-range profiles with both decent damage output and survivability. 

The skinks are really fast at move 6, and can move surpisingly quickly around the board.

Eternity Warden

The leader of the Guardians is an Eternity Warden. The most powerful of the Saurus Leaders, this star-stone mace wielding warrior can deal massive damage  when using the Tearing Bite and  Wrath of the Old Ones abilities.

[Double] Cold-blooded Commander: A fighter can only use this ability if an enemy fighter has been taken down by an attack action made by them this activation. This fighter makes a bonus move action or a bonus attack action.

[Triple] Tearing Bite: Add the value of this ability to the damage points allocated by each hit and critical hit from the next melee attack action made by this fighter in this activation.

[Quad] Wrath of the Old Ones: Until the end of the battle round, add half the value of this ability (rounding up) to the Attacks and Strength characteristics of melee attack actions made by this fighter.

Saurus Guardian on Gilded Ankylodon

The Saurus Guardian on Gilded Ankylodon conversion uses the profile of the Evocator-Prime on Celestial Dracoline with Grandstave and counts as an Ally from the Stormcast Eternals Sacrosanct Chamber. It’s profile fit nicely to be a more elite Suarus Guard Alpha. 

[Double] Channelled Empowerment: Add the value of this ability to the Strength characteristic of the next melee attack action made by this fighter in this activation. 

[Double] Cleanse the Realms of Taint: A fighter can only use this ability if an enemy fighter has been taken down by an attack action made by them this activation. This fighter makes a bonus move action or a bonus attack action.

[Double] Summon Celestial Lightning: Pick a visible enemy fighter within 1″ of this fighter and roll a number of dice equal to the value of this ability. For each roll of 4+, allocate 1 damage point to that enemy fighter.

[Quad] Thunderous Pounce: Until the end of this fighter’s activation, the next time this fighter finishes a move action within 1″ of an enemy fighter, pick a visible enemy fighter within 1″ of this fighter. Allocate a number of damage points to that fighter equal to double the value of this ability
