Warcry Summary

What is Warcry? 

Warcry is a fast-paced chess-like tabletop skirmish game from Warhammer and Games-Workshop based in the Age of Sigmar. 

It is a chess-like game using moving pieces and taking opponents pieces. Instead of a chessboard, an area or board of 30″*22″ is used. The pieces used are from the fantastic models from the range of Warhammer: Age of Sigmar. Instead of a number of squares as in chess, pieces are moved using a movement value of inches. Instead of taking your opponents pieces simply by moving onto their square like in chess, each model has to roll, using dice, a certain number of damage using their attacks and bring their opponents pieces wound count down to 0.   

The additional features that go beyond chess is that you can do battle with a vast variety of pieces that cover almost every corner of the fantasy genre. 

Building and painting the models gives great satisfaction in making a particular unique and personalized theme and faction come to fruition.
